Landvergnügen is one of Germany’s most distinctive travel platforms, connecting campers with carefully selected rural hosts across the country. As the brand evolved and user expectations shifted, the existing app no longer reflected the ambition or potential of the platform. Instead of incrementally improving what was already there, the decision was made to rebuild the product entirely. The objective was not a visual refresh.It was a structural, experiential and technological reset designed to create a future-proof foundation.


The previous app had reached its architectural limits. User journeys felt fragmented, the interface lacked clarity, and the technical structure constrained further development. At the same time, Landvergnügen was growing — as a brand, as a community, and as a platform. The digital experience needed to reflect that evolution. It had to feel contemporary, intuitive and scalable, while maintaining the trust and authenticity the brand stands for. This required more than optimization. It required redefinition.
The rebuild began with a complete restructuring of the product architecture. The app was reorganized around five clearly defined core areas — Planning, Stays, Discover, Messages and Profile — each serving a distinct role within the ecosystem. User journeys were rebuilt holistically, interaction logic streamlined and the information architecture reconstructed from the ground up to create contextual clarity across the entire experience.


Behind the interface, a comprehensive and scalable design system was developed, forming the structural backbone of the product. A modular component library with extensive variants ensures consistency while allowing flexibility for future growth and multilingual expansion. Design and development progressed in close collaboration, translating conceptual clarity into a technically sustainable platform.

Content is structured in clear visual clusters that guide attention naturally and reduce cognitive load.
